Create a welcoming and collaborative learning environment for students and staff.
Collaborate with faculty to enrich course content through library resources.
Support faculty in their efforts to integrate technology.
Provides individual, small group, and class lessons on information literacy and research techniques.
Update and purge the library collection ensuring content is up to date and breadth of resources is maintained.
Evaluate all print and non-print resources to ensure alignment with the Catholic mission of the High School. Maintain a current and curriculum-relevant collection.
Provide instruction, support, and access to innovative technology for pedagogy.
Maintain an up-to-date library calendar in order to maximize student and staff access.
Develop and manage the library budget.
Serve as a member of the Academic Council.
Participate in school wide events, scheduled meetings, parent conferences, and religious gatherings or ceremonies.
Commitment to continuous learning as demonstrated through memberships in professional organizations and attendance at workshops or conferences.
Knowledgeable about the skills and attributes important for 21st century learners.
Experience with an array of technological resources and a familiarity with coding.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, support staff, and administration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with and teaching adolescent learners.
Ability to support the teachings of the Catholic faith.
Possess or eligible for a Vermont license with School Librarian endorsement.
Master degree preferred.
Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required.
