The York Public Library is seeking a creative and dynamic person to fill the position of Technology & Youth Services Librarian. This full time, exempt position of 40 hours per week includes some evening and weekend hours as well as a generous benefit package.
The ideal candidate will have an ALA-accredited Masters of Library & Information Science or related advanced degree; a minimum of two years of recent experience in youth programming & services; proven ability in and passion for working with children and teens, a wide breadth of experience and knowledge of technology, software programs and databases generally found in public libraries; ability to instruct colleagues and patrons as needed on the use of hardware, software, and databases; and ability to perform general pc troubleshooting and maintenance. Bonus points for creativity, sense of humor, and ability to pivot.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
