A Summer Retreat for Senior Library Leaders
The Changing Nature of Work
Join colleagues from all areas of Librarianship and Library Service for a 3-day Leadership Retreat. Led by nationally-known library leadership trainer and Past President of the American Library Association Maureen Sullivan, this retreat is designed for library staff, Trustees or Friends that have more than 15 years’ experience in libraries. This is an intensive residential program.*
Our 2018 program will explore “The Changing Nature of Work.” We are living through a revolution in the way Americans work. This symposium will focus on how work has changed since our careers began, and how we must change with it. What personal qualities do we bring to our library positions that will help us remain flexible and productive? Are there techniques that we can use to more effectively lead organizations in constant motion?
