Grants & ScholarshipsTo encourage attendance at the NELA Annual Conference. Six grants, no more than one for each New England state, are awarded for the cost of registration and banquet only. No travel expenses are supported. Scholarships are awarded annually as long as funds are available. Applicants must be a NELA member. Applicants are no longer required to be first time attendees to annual conference. Persons who have not previously attended the Annual Conference are given preference, however, we encourage ALL interested parties to apply.

To provide financial assistance to NELA members for conferences, courses, institutes, seminars or other study opportunities not leading to a degree, including NELA programs. The award may subsidize up to a maximum of $1,000. Scholarships are awarded twice a year as long as funds are available. Retrospective awards are allowed. Applicants must be a NELA member. The Educational Assistance Committee works to raise money all year long with fundraisers such as our See's Candies Storefront (NELA receives up to 50% from every order!) and trivia nights at NELA's Annual Conference. You may also make a personal donation to the Educational Assistance Fund.
